  • Summary: Pretty Nice
  • Comment: The game has the same exact rock band feel as the original game, with a little twist. xD

The game is only 20 songs long, easily beaten on a single night.

Drum and guitar parts are extremely hard on some songs. Makes for a challenging time.

Some songs don't belong on this game, but just a couple, the other are a complete Win. Massive replay value, good setlist.

  • Summary: Region information missing
  • Comment: For the international customers, please note that due to Nintendo living in the 1900s, this 'expansion' DVD for Rockband Wii is for US & Mexico region only. This information is missing.

  • Summary: Haven't even played it
  • Comment: Can't import into current Rock Band game on the Wii, so why bother playing it? I'd rather go buy a PS3 and buy the Rock Band set for that and then you can import all the songs you want, even from Rock Band 1.

  • Summary: Wheres the metal?
  • Comment: Im a long time metal listener, and I have a wide range of metal tastes, but it seems like someone who doesn't know much about metal put this together. Theres a few bands on here that aren't even considered metal bands(Queens of the Stone Age, I Mother Earth, Hawkwind) and they managed to leave out a few major genres of metal, like Black Metal. For those that dont know Black Metal and Death Metal were pretty much the predominant metal genres of the 90's. So apparently it made sense to them to include some non-metal bands at the expense of including ANY black metal at all. Lame.

So lets go through some fundamental metal genres and see if any of the widely recognized major acts were included:

The "big 4" of Thrash Metal:

    Anthrax? Nope
    Megadeth? Nope
    Metallica? Nope
    Slayer? Nope

    Major Death Metal Bands:

    Morbid Angel? Nope
    Death? Nope
    Cannibal Corpse? Nope
    Obituary? Nope

    Major Melodic Death Metal Bands:

At the Gates? Hey! theres one!
    Dark Tranquility? Nope
    In Flames? Nope
Children of Bodom? Ok! thats two! But why this song?

    Major Black Metal Bands:

    Emperor? Nope
    Mayhem? Nope
    Burzum? Nope
    Immortal? Nope

    Major Original Heavy Metal Bands:

    Black Sabbath? Nope
    Judas Priest? Hey! thats 3!
    Iron Maiden? Nope
    Motorhead? Ok! thats 4!

    Major 80's Glam Metal Bands:

    Motley Crue? Nope
    Ratt? Nope
    Skid Row? Nope
    Europe? Nope

    Major Power Metal Bands:

    Iced Earth? Nope
    Blind Guardian? Nope
    Stratovarius? Nope
    Helloween? Nope

    Major Progressive Metal Bands:

    Dream Theater? Nope
    Opeth? Nope
    Symphony X? Nope
    Nevermore? Nope

    Major Doom Metal Bands:

    My Dying Bride? Nope
    Katatonia? Nope
    Paradise Lost? Nope
    Anathema? Nope

I could go on and on with other metal genres but you get the point. I understand that they cant include everything on this disk, but what is shocking is what they chose to put in INSTEAD of what I listed above. Some big genres aren't even represented on the disk. With such a wide selection of metal to choose from in this world they only decided to include a few, threw in some stuff that wasn't even metal in order to fill up a disk, and ignored a whole bunch of metal. This gets 2 stars because they at least got a few right, but for the most part this disk is way off. Metal is my favorite music genre and I dont even want this track pack! That says something!
