  • Comment: This new madden 11 showed some promise,but after a few weeks with it im just as disappointed in ea sports as ever.For one thing this game has nothing on nfl 2k5 lets see thats over five years old and still a much better game.Better control of defense,better halftime show,better replay ability the list goes on and on.Just put it this way if you love the nfl and want your team with the current roster buy it,if not dont waste your money.I know ea fanboys will be mad at this review but face it ea has had long enough to make a decent game and in my opinion it just doesnt cut it.I just cant tell you how much better the 2k series would be if not for ea using a boat load of money to buy the exclusive rights to nfl players and uniforms,stadiums.keep your eyes out cause i may just throw mine out the window.

  • Comment: Now before I start this review I'm going to say that I loved Madden 10 , so I was expecting a lot from this game, maybe too much.

    Basic Madden gameplay, nothing has changed except the passing and catching feels a bit smoother. Now you probably will be spending your time on Franchise OR Superstar mode. These are basically the EXACT same modes as last year, nothing has changed. You have probably heard about Gameflow by now, its where the game selects the play for you based on the situation on the field. Useless innovation, I tried it once and didn't like it. They say it gives a "smoother and faster experience" but most of the time they will select a play that just doesn't work. What really bugged me was the difficulty problems, the game is either way too easy or way too hard. So I thought the My Skill thing would solve the problem, it didn't, it just kept switching the difficulty every 2 plays so I would have 2 really easy plays and two hard ones. Another thing that will anger people is that you have to pay extra for online access, yeah that's right I'm not joking, this is one of the stupidest decisions they could ever make. So once you pay for the online access, they make you pay even more with Microsoft points to get madden coins. There is just way too much bad to talk about, so just save yourself some $$$ and get NCAA 11 instead.

  • Comment: the game is great but I recd. damaged item from amazon. I have been having issues in the console not being able to read the disc but i realised it late that the disc came in with a scratch and which is why my console has a problem reading this disc. it is sad that amazon shipped a defective piece and I realised that I should have bought from local game stop for a little higher price. it was not worth the bucks I saved purchasing thru amazon.

  • Comment: Same junk year after year NO improvements and they gauge you for every penny you got. EA is the worst developer EVER they're terrible, unoriginal, and extremely lazy those stupid people i swear EA is pathetic i wish people would quite buying their games all together til they go bankrupt and quit. They spend a whole year on a new madden at what do you get with 11? Nothing. A worse version of every other year. I hate EA.
